I read this in one sitting and it was a gut punch, but at the same time well worth the read. Beautifully written. It is grief and trauma described in beautiful prose. Read this.

It’s poetically beautiful and heartbreaking. Grief isn’t linear. There aren’t necessarily a progression of stages. We just all deal with it differently.

I always feel weird when rating/reviewing memoirs because it's so personal and what am I even rating?? I think it's a great book to recommend to someone who has lost their partner.
