This was so fun. All of these characters feel real in a way I haven't read from a fantasy in a while.
what can I say. brigid kemmerer has done it again. this book. THIS BOOK. the world. the characters. the plot. THE TWISTS. i missed these characters so much and it was like a hug to read about them again. TESSA AND CORRICK (my favs im crying). literally everything about this book was perfection. I loved every minute of this book and it is for sure one of my favorites of this year and all time.
I am UPSET about this cliffhanger. I gotta hold out till January

Oh boy, this series just gets better. Predicted some of the twists but not all which kept me engaged and wanting to know what happened next. Can’t wait for book 3!
