Read this if you like espionage, love triangles, nautical sailing, and high stakes royal politics with shocking twists and surprising turns.

I kept my expectations low for this book because I have been disappointed with other Brigid Kemmerer series before, however this one had me on the edge of my seat.

The ending??? The cliffhanger??? I don’t think I can wait indefinitely for the third one!!

Also, am I sensing a budding romance between Quint and Harriston? Because I NEED it.

Aku sangat memberi apresiasi pada buku kedua ini. Karena, karakter Corrick dan Lochlan dibuat stand-out. Overall, perkembangan karakternya oke banget! 

Aku suka banget gimana Brigid Kemmerer sebisa itu untuk membuat aku berteka-teki sendiri. I love how she really write this book so well, sampai aku perlu mikir keras dan berakhir kaget sendiri dengan plot twist-nya! 

Buku pertama? Mantap. Buku kedua? Mantap banget!

didn't have as much action as i wanted and wayyy too much of boys will be boys (emotionally stunted scared children who cannot handle the concept of not overthinking everything and talking to one another)
