Este relato estuvo muy bueno.
Admito que al principio estaba como: "What the hell is going on?" pero después todo comenzó a cobrar algo de sentido.
Simon esta en la Academia algo decaído cuando aparecen Magnus, Clary y Jem para notificarle que han sido elegidos por Emma y Jules para ser uno de sus testigos en la ceremonia de Parabatai... O La Prueba de Fuego.
Sin embargo, Clary y Simon son sometidos a una prueba ellos mismos. El resultado no fue otro que la certeza de que Clary y Simon están hechos para ser Parabatai.
Aww, Clary y Simon BFF de por vida.
Sin embargo, las pruebas agitan la memoria de Simon y recuerda la primera vez que conoció a Jace o mejor dicho cuando Clary encontró a Jace en Java Jones. Simon recuerda lo que sentía en ese momento y la diferencia con los sentimientos que tiene ahora, sentimientos que son los correctos.
Pero este pequeño detalle opino que tiene más que ver con Jules y Emma.
Jules no se nota sumamente cómodo en la ceremonia, cosa que Simon nota... Y que en mi opinión es lo que despierta ese recuerdo. El nota algo en Julian, algo que el sintió hace mucho tiempo.
En mi opinión, Simon sabe que Jules esta enamorado de Emma. Quizás no se ha dado cuenta todavía de que es eso o son imaginaciones mias (lo de que Simon sepa, no que Jules esta enamorado de Emma... Eso se sabe desde hace años) pero fue un relato sumamente interesante que me dejó al borde del asiento mientras leía.

This was definitely one of the weirder books in the series. I was so confused about what was going on until it finally clicked in my mind, from the tea to everything that was going on in the beginning. I had been waiting for this book because I was sure it was going to be discussed eventually (and I was really freaking excited, even if I wish Clary and Izzy had been parabatai instead). And it was. I loved seeing Clary so much in this novella (even if I was really missing Izzy because bae).
Not a ton happened in this one, but we did get to see Emma and Julian's parabatai ceremony, which was very exciting. I am always really intrigued by anything we to do with the Shadow World, so this was something I had been wanting to see for a while. But it was actually really interesting that Simon himself noticed that something was off in the ceremony. Its like he really knew what was going on. That they should have both been way more excited and happy to be becoming parabatai than they were. He could just tell they were actually into each other that way, and that they just doomed themselves because they can never be a thing since they are parabatai.
Overall, I really enjoyed this installment to the series, I loved the writing, seeing the parabatai ceremony, seeing all the Climon friendship scenes, and I just really thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I am really excited to move onto the next one!

WOW! So a lot of shit went down in this book. A whole lot of parabati shit.
But then The Fiery Trial had to take me on an emotional roller coaster ride that I did not sign up for, like:

I honestly have no idea how I even got through this book on my own. I feel like I need a hug and some chocolate.

Por qué no puedo darle más estrellas? Definitivamente este ha sido mi favorito. De todos me quedo con Simon y Clary siendo destinados a ser parabatais, de Emma y Julian (my heart) convirtiéndose en parabatais, con Simon notando LO QUE TODOS DEBERÍAN VER pero no estando seguro del todo.
Se ha vuelto mi favorito...
