"Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection."
"Human progress never rolls in on wheels of inevitability."
"the question is not whether we will be extremists, but what kind of extremists we will be. Will we be extremists for hate or for love?"
"the goal of America is freedom. Abused and scorned though we may be, our destiny is tied up with America's destiny."
MLK JR is so well spoken.
Eloquent, to the point, confronting but without hate. Loved reading through this.

Powerful, eloquent words from MLK. Unfortunately, this is still as relevant today as it was over a half century ago.

Revisiting Letter from Birmingham Jail is always an arresting experience. Perhaps the most readable, incisive, and radical from one of the most important and eloquent leaders.
Also, the additional selection of The Three Dimensions of a Complete Life was excellent. Reading the sermon of King’s both highlights his preaching and thinking later in his life and also provides genuinely moving insights on life, The Bible, America, and the human condition.

Everyone should read this letter at least once.
Listened to a recording of his sermon, very very powerful speaker. Felt his voice through to my core.
