My first Brown Sisters book! After a few chapters in, I definitely plan to read the entirety of this trilogy! I love rom-coms, and it's refreshing to see the characters written so adorably and relatable, even though the sexual stuff gets kinda out of hand during the second half of the book.(ㅅ˘ㅂ˘) Still, this is one of those really nice and cozy ones, the author really does know how to write good romance fiction.

Very cute and emotional! I didn’t get quite as into this as Eve’s book, but it was quite delightful still!

4.5-5* AHHHHHH I loved this so much!! I don't have a specific reason as to why it didn't hit a confident 5 star mark for me, but I just felt like it was missing a little touch of SOMETHING. I always know right away when I'm giving a book 5 stars and I didn't have that instant feeling, so 4.5...VERY close to 5 for me. This was so stinkin' cute and the steam was.......jhsdijdgijgsdjdsgj. Red is eeeeeeverything. Chloe was such a great character and although I can't speak for the chronic pain representation and how well that was done, it was nice to read about something so important and often overlooked. I can't wait to read Dani & Eve's stories and literally anything else Talia writes.

Rereading this got me out of a slump! While Eve Brown will always be my favorite Hibbert book, this is what led to that, so I must love it almost just as much.

I love Red so much, love the discussion of mental and physical health that is sprinkled throughout the book, love reading these characters who are still figuring out their shit- but figuring it out together.

The only reason I don’t like this is the third act “breakup” scene. I just didn’t love how it was handled, and wished it had been solved quicker.

I love the representation found in Talia Hibberts books. The characters are all so unique and feel really though out. Many of her characters have conditions and have gone through realistic life events that shape them and make them feel real.

That being said I think I should stick to her YA novels as her adult characters are much too horny for me. I'm sure it's for someone else but it's really not to my taste. In this case the story felt a bit incomplete. I feel like the couple spent so long physically lusting after one another and having insecurity based misunderstandings that I never really felt like they were getting to know each other. I liked Chloe and felt like I knew her but left the novel not connected to Red at all. It was really disappointing as I'd read Take a Hint Dani Brown first and the love interest in that one was absolutely stunning. I don't think I'll read the last brown sister novel but I'll check in if there is another YA novel.
