Didn't really enjoy the writing style, and I wished some plot points were explored further or just left out.
I also didn't believe this couple. I wanted to see a deeper connection because now it read to me as primarily acting on repressed childhood feelings.
It did hit all the romance boxes, but I think that made me dislike it more, honestly.
