Surprisingly, I enjoyed book 2 a lot more. Still a really fun read! I like that these are “not-your-grandma’s” cozy romances/mysteries. There’s plenty of smut (spice? Lol) but they are lighthearted and easy to read.

Excellent read, butterfly a bit repetitive.

Bela and her family are on the run for most of the book. It makes for some interesting scares, but the constant moving and arguing got boring and could’ve been shortened.
