Book club never met to finish the book. And honestly, I felt like the book was not intersectional enough.

I wanted a sequel before I even reached the end. I really do think I could read about every year of Oona's life and not get bored.

Also, kind of the perfect New Year's read.

I really like the show, but the antifatness in the book was overwhelming.

All educators should read this book. It has really good "right now" materials, as well as resources for beginning & continuing ABAR work in order to work towards building schools that are safe for all students.
