A Flatter story of a Flatland

I liked the concept but the story was quite boring, the scenes changed immediately and suddenly, i didn't quite enjoy the writing style...There was a lot discription of events & ethics of people of flatland which wasn't quite interesting, the events of Lineland & Spaceland were okay but it's just a forward going simple story. I didn't liked the female being so weak in Flatland & It's just a square story discribing his world & other worlds he meets out of curiosity...

This book found a place in my heart, I won't forget it

This was quite an experience to be felt. It's just a PERFECT piece. This was my 1st Nicholas Sparks' book & it's utterly awesome. It's so difficult to review this, I feel my review won't be giving as much justice as this deserves..

It's a simple love story between Landon(a quite normal boy) & Jamie(a highly religious girl) as two different types falls in love with each other..

There were many touching scenes that stucked in my heart. One was the meeting of Landon,Jamie,Eric & Margaret in Jamie's home..

Spoiler Jamie came and went in the lives of others as an Angel teaching the people close to her a great lesson as to serve humanity & helping the needy that was so great about this book. The other thing was when Jamie told Landon that she was dying he got more closer to nature as was hurt and was unable to handle it & starts reading bible with her.

I think when Landon asks Jamie before the climax was the most touching part that made my eyes wet.The divine bond between them was the essence of it.

It's an extraordinary book.. Touching as well as Revieting...I loved the writing style of Nicholas Sparks especially as how it described as the situation changed was quite mesmerising..

This was a marvellous part from the book-

"Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous. Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish. It does not take offense and is not resentful. Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins, but delights in the truth. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope, and to endure whatever comes."

Interstellar is one my fav film & Christopher Nolan is my fav director I have seen all movies of him (except 'following' which I m gonna watch soon) besides him the work of 'double negative' the visual effect team of Paul Franklin made to Oscar & ofcourse the sources Kip Throne & Lynda Obst...

The Climax of the film 'The Tesserect' made me surprisingly awestrucked which happens to arise my interest in the book of the great scientist Kip Throne..

The chapters in the book are labeled as-
1) Truth
2) Educated Guess
3) Speculation
So it's a complete interpretation of scientific phenomenons happening in the movie from that I have known things that I had never heard before...

The most interesting parts of book are:
# The 5D Bulk
# The Brands
# Gravitational Anomalies
# Warped Space-Time
# Tidal Gravity
# Black Holes (Gargantua)
# Worm Holes
# Gravitational Slingshots
# Blight (On Earth)
# Miller's & Mann's Planets
# The Tesserect
These are the mind blowing concepts scientists have discovered recently..

I would write a lot about Tesserect, Black holes & Wormholes but I don't want spoilers here...lol there isn't anything like spoilers in science non-fiction u will have to read it to get it...

The thing I wanna say is we humans r capable of discovering, deciphering, mastering and using to control our own fate & of dealing with most any catastrophe the universe may throw at us or our own ones..

We are very close to discover the unified theory to unravel all the mysteries of forces & fields in nature by amalgamation of Newtonian,Relativistic,Quantum & other new laws.We come across new frontiers no matter how incognita it seems.

Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl

First of all Hats off to Dr. Viktor Frankl he has became an idol in my life..
The book is divided into two parts:
1) Experiences from the Camp
2) Logotherapy in a Nutshell

The first part is the personal experience in the concentration camp some events described brought tears in my eyes..
Suffering is an inevitable part of life which is a means to spiritual realisation.
But instead of surrendering one must find the meaning of his life & its purpose. A purpose can be found in any ones lives no matter how his conditions are..

The Philosophy & Psychology described in this book is an essence for everyone to inherit in himself.

The Logotherapy is a better form of psychotherapy. The best line to me was one must think that he is leading a second life and had done a wrong deed & has to correct it in this life..

It is a must read book & I highly recommend it.

This is so ridiculous & disgusting.

It's all about how three IITians mess up everything and at last they regret & correct it.The story is so lame like there isn't any exciting moment.Indians are so much IIT obsessed that they'll like any piece of shit about it...

I've watched it's adaptation '3 Idiots' which is awesome & superb like among the best Bollywood movies..
Quite Funny huh!!!

“Crime is terribly revealing. Try and vary your methods as you will, your tastes, your habits, your attitude of mind, and your soul is revealed by your actions.”

It was a damm cliffhanger that I finished it in 3 seatings...Great suspense quite impossible to figure out till end.
Really Agatha Christe's a mastermind and had written hundreds of mystery novels :O the style was fascinating.
The concept was about the righteous murders beyond the reach of law & justice. The whole story revolves on a Children's Poem 'And Then There Were None' and the murders takes place similarly.
As this mysteries killing starts the characters all are claimed equally as suspects inspite of their criminal guilts, they don't turn into maniacs but starts to investigate among them.
And as, despite the precautions, the number of people trapped on the island continues to decline, the uneasy tension sets in, and the impeccable facades begin to crack.

"The others went upstairs, a slow unwilling procession.
If this had been an old house, with creaking wood, and dark shadows, and heavily panelled walls, there might have been an eerie feeling.
But this house was the essence of modernity.
There were no dark corners - no possible sliding panels - it was flooded with electric light - everything was new and bright and shining.
There was nothing hidden in this house, nothing concealed.
It had no atmosphere about it.
Somehow, that was the most frightening thing of all. They exchanged good-nights on the upper landing.
Each of them went into his or her own room, and each of them automatically, almost without conscious thought, locked the door."

The serial killer is quite conceiled that he has the right and moral authority to determine the guilt and extent of punishment and starts poetic killings.
It was a quite fast read. The whole set up was quite awesome and the ending is a lot baffling & unexpected..
