Noragami: Stray God, Vol. 19 by Adachitoka

A lot has happened in this last few volumes. I feel we have been introduced to a lot of new characters at once, extremely fast for how the story is evolving and it’s obvious this will be the last arc of the manga. Some bits are very nice written, others kinda lack depth and kinda fell flat. I feel we will have a jump skip in time in a few chapters for sure

Izumo pretty much giving Shiemi the wake up call to confess to Rin.

I love the friendship between Izumo and Shiemi. The way Izumo has grown so much is so nice to read, a girls girls for real. Shiemi standing up for herlsef and despite the feelings she is harbouring for Rin she decides to wait instead of jumping into a relationship is so damn cute, the way they are being set up for romantic interest is so cute to read. I miss though, Bon’s old hair😭come back to us

I love the characters and the story, but god the fan service and the misogyny keeps growing and growing in these damn books. I do acknowledge the year they were written in, but at the end of the day we are talking 2011 not the 1980s. Some stuff, innuendos shouldn’t really be a thing. They add NOTHING to the manga itself.
