I was so very frustrated with this whole book. Alex was a complete jerk when it came to her boyfriend (being embarrassed of him, cheating etc) and to her parents as well. She was so unlikeable that despite her attempts to make things better in the end I couldn’t forgive her.

The Guest List by Lucy Foley is one of my favourite thrillers. This missed the mark slightly for me as the twists weren’t too surprising. However, I will read more from this author as I think she does great character work.
