A one night stand turn to "be my good luck charm" to lovers... This was cute!

Jaylen was just like this chill dude all around who plays hockey and was cut from the team but after a one night stand with Lucy, he gets a permanent spot on the team for a year at the very least. Lucy, trying to be a tattoo artist, gets a shove from her rude boss to paint a mural for the hockey arena. Then Jay plays the best game he's played in a while, he wants her to be his good luck charm and it works!

They both aren't looking for a relationship but they have this pull to each other. So magnetic even though Lucy is a bit brash compared to Jay. They have a lot of fun together. I absolutely loved her friends Maya and Cooper. Cooper is a riot and Maya doesn't let Lucy put herself down.

I was so proud of Lucy for finally standing up to her dad in a big way, he didn't deserve a daughter like her.

I'm not a fan of breaking up a marriage because you claim to have fallen out of love, but I did enjoy this book because I thought it was a unique look into an alternate timeline where certain choices lead to a different life.

Ellie and her husband Jonah have had a hard time since their daughter left for college and decided to tell their family they are divorcing while visiting her parents in Florida. Ellie's mom says they can't go through with it because marriage is more than just love.

After getting back home, Ellie wakes up in an alternate timeline where Jonah is only a stranger. I love that she gets to see how much of a mistake she might be making in her real life.

I planned to read this over a week for a group buddy read but OOPS I quickly became obsessed and finished it in a day!

First, can we get more swim sports romances? It was so fun and competitive and drama filled!

Lukas and Scarlett are 🔥. The spice was spicing. Their lists to compare what they would and wouldn't do with each other? 👌
I love his confessions to her at the end (can't spoil any of it). I had a love/hate relationship with Pen. Mostly love but sometimes the jealous streak became too much.

Of course the third of the series would be my first read and I'm disappointed in myself because this was excellent so I'm sure the others probably are since I got to see all the characters in this one and fell in love with them all.

In this the MC's are Will and Juliet. What I really loved about these 2 is the superb HONESTY they promised to always tell the other. The "romance workout buddies" to help each other want to let love in again was so cute. I also really loved that they both were like "look, this is what life has dealt me" (autoimmune disease, Autism) and they were just accepted as they are which is HOW IT SHOULD BE.  The total acceptance was beautiful. I love how Will and Juliet would constantly check into each other's mental state, even from across a room with just looks.

A medical thriller with a very corrupt hospital and horse racing/school with so many players and twists and turns it really kept my attention.

I liked ZZ. I'm sorry for all he goes through in this book but he's a good doctor/person. Stephanie, his sister, swears like a sailor but she was easily my favorite character. The most intense part for me was when the hospital and its thugs were going after ZZ...I couldn't believe all that they tried and got away with until eventually justice was served.

After Auston left for his big career break on the worst day of Emma's life, he's back in town filming a book adaption of Emma's favorite book and it's set in Emma and her friends bookstore!

Caught as reconnecting friends, fake dating is made up between the two of them as Auston's costar is relentless in her pursuit of him and Emma is brought on at a script supervisor to hone Auston's portrayal of the book character.

I kind of actually loved that Alice and Hayley were scarce for most of this book because it got Emma to really get to figure out her feelings for Auston in her own way.  The surprises at the end from Auston to Emma and so sweet and swoony and I just love them as a couple!

I don't think an epistolary novel is my favorite type to read. This consists of newspaper clippings, emails (book set in 2002), handwritten notes passed in school and put into a bottle floating down a river.

Goodnight, Kansas (doesn't really) welcome a family of 3 New Yorkers to their little town. The mom grew up here and ran and her sisters find it hard to forgive. The dad failed the legacy of his family's deli and resolved to never cook again.

These outsiders will become involved in the town through a diner, a hotel and by bringing down a tire company that's polluting a lake.

My favorite parts of this book were the alpacas that live in the New Yorker's house, yes the house. Also, the wind chimes that keep going missing and the goats.

This was a cozy fantasy read and was fun to follow Marigold on her journey to become a Honey Witch like her grandmother before her.

The magic was easy to understand. There are the Honey Witches that use honey in their spells and their nemesis are Ash Witches which burn and use the ash in their spells. But life can be lonely as a Honey Witch can't fall in love.

It was a nice, not slow progression for maybe the first 48% I thought. The ending has a lot that happens in a short while and never really got my heart pumping like I thought it should.

Oh man was this fun. Not only do Claire and Declan have the most insane chemistry, there are elements of mystery surrounding a few characters (Declan one of them and Claire's newfound but never met bio dad).

Claire heads to N. Carolina when she learns that her actual biological father (she didn't know get dad want her dad) had just died and had been summoned to his home.
Meeting on the airplane, Claire is brought into the mysterious Declan's orbit by her scheming half sister, Nicole. Plus the addition of Mrs. Rosings who is just this fun, older character.

I got more than I wanted with this book. I knew there was a romance going to be in it but didn't know about the big mystery.

My favorite character has to be Nicole! She is devious, funny and scary and so much more...I feel I'd really like a person like her as my best friend.  I love how she pushes Claire towards him in silly ways but it works. They can't deny the chemistry that's there.

This was cute. From the way Chrissy and Deacon won the cruise to them picking what they thought was one theme but it turned out to be completely different was such fun. But I don't want to give that away, I laughed when I learned what happened!

In spite of his proposal gone wrong, Chrissy and Deacon both decide separately to still go on it. They have to deal with staying in the same room while trying to avoid two interlopers that might mess with Deacon's plans to get back together with Chrissy.

I kind of didn't understand why Chrissy rejected the proposal, but it was fun trying to see them not fall back in total love with each other again. I LOVED that at the end they decided to go all in on the theme and continued with it off the ship.
