This one was a bit hard for me to read during our current pandemic but it was definitely worth it. It was lyrically written and the illustrations were gorgeous. I had wished for a happier ending for Edyth and Mason but wasn't surprised that it didn't happen. In fact it probably would have degraded the rest of the book and diminishes its impact.

This one was a little choppy to get going, I thought. Once it did get going though it was really good. Seeing Amari and Zeilie at odds with each other was heart breaking but a bit understandable. The joining of the magic was a beautiful and gut wrenching scene that will affect me for a while.

Did not finish. Interesting topic but I wasn't in the right frame of mind mind to keep going and finish. The origination of children's television as I know it was certainly enjoyable to read about. The amount of advocacy that went into getting it off the ground is astounding.

This book really got me at the end. Throughout the whe thing with Henry I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. I knew it couldn't last. Towards the end though I noticed how much smaller and quicker the. Hapters were which mimicked how it probably feels when you're close to the end and running out of time. It was heart breaking. A great read that sucks you in from nowhere. Also, I doubt it will happen, but I would love some kind of sequel or afterward to see if Addie really does win.

Pocket of Dog Snogging at it again. Delightfully fun but with a gory twist.

Heartbreaking and beautiful.

Very hard read but a story that needs to be heard.
