I though it was kind of slow in the beginning and Ben's quirkiness & inner thought process was a little distracting.
I was hooked from word one and loved the dynamics of this world. I plan on reading more of this series!!
After listening to David and Sean on the Self-publishing Podcast, I took a chance on the first episode of Yesterday's Gone and I am so glad that I did!! I loved everything about it - from the different perspectives of the different characters to how they brought many of those characters together. I am looking forward to reading more of this serial to see what happens next.
I am not totally into vampire related stories, but after hearing Johnny B. Truant talking about this on the Self-Publishing Podcast, I wanted to see what it was all about - and it went above and beyond what I thought it would be!! I LOVED it!! I found myself cheering for Reginald, even when he felt like he wasn't a good vampire because he was fat. I am looking forward to reading more in this series!!
