I was pleasantly surprised with this book. I was worried at first with the Worden family being one of extremely substantial wealth and lavish life-styles because that's been something I've never connected to in a book, but I feel like I could identify well with Jayne. I loved the one-liners between Jayne and David and the way their relationship developed. The constant animosity between Rebecca and her mother were a little too intense for me at first, but throughout the book you get to know the characters and I like the way they build off of each other and the extreme dysfunction in their family ties together to create an understanding.
Overall, I really enjoyed it. I read straight through after I was about halfway through so that's definitely saying something good!
