Mrs. Claus and the Santaland Slayings

DID NOT FINISH

I was given a digital copy, free, all opinions are my own.

I am not sure if it’s the book or me. I’ve picked this up 3 different times and make it through a couple of pages and then find I’m extremely bored.  So I’m calling it this time around. I never made it past chapter 1.

DID NOT FINISH

I was really looking forward to this. Okorafor is an author that I’ve consistently enjoyed and always recommend.  But I struggled with this, and in the end I just couldn’t connect with it.

Meh..Thats how I felt when I finished listening to this. Don't get me wrong - the writin and storytelling l was very well done. But, like the first one it's entirely forgettable. Even though this is the second book. it doesn't seem to build on one another. I mean, you can comfortably read this without  having to read the first one. This is a pretty quick listen (about 2 hours).
