Absolutely Everything! A History of Earth, Dinosaurs, Rulers Robots and Other Things too Numerous to Mention.
By Christopher Lloyd
 Source: Netgalley

This was an audiobook that I received for review. I was excited because I had considered this for our homeschool, but decided to pass until I was able to check it out. This gave me that opportunity and needless to say, we will be adding it to our collection.  This goes through a wide selection of topics. , giving just enough information to introduce the topic and to make you curious to know more.

I enjoyed the narration, it was done by the author. This helped make it feel as if you were having a conversation.

In this one, Veritas and Ian has to unite the supernatural community to face down three deities. Everything that I love about this series -trademark Ian and Veritas banter, danger with impossible odds, a fast pace that propels you through - is still present. But there is also more. There's the budding of a sibling relationship. This opens the door for acquaintances to turn into deep-and real- friendships. It also means that Veritas is learning to stop standing in her own way of her happiness. I'm looking forward to so much more with these characters.

Sterling Bledsoe is  notified that his estranged brother is missing. Suspecting that more is going on, Sterling pulls strings at the FBI to join the investigation. A missing brother that is found murdered. A bunch of dead blackbirds. That is all the he has to go on.

Well, this started out so well. But it didn't maintain the pacing and my attention lagged a lot in places. At the point I was tired of Bledsoe just collecting clues, I knew that the best had passed. Soon after that, I was too close to the end and things had kicked up a bit. But in the end, I was disappointed. I liked the scientific knowledge behind the blackbirds -but I can't speak of its accuracy. There were a bunch of little things that accumulated and made this less enjoyable.

I will see if my library has any of Smith's other books to see if this was a fluke, this was his first book.

DID NOT FINISH

Ok. So this is part of the Zora Cannon and I want to read my way through it. But I started this and just stopped. It's super short and I really should just finish it. But it's been a few months since I started it and haven't bothered so......
