This was an older review copy and I decided that I would pick it up on audio. Honestly, I think that if I had picked this up when I was younger, I would have enjoyed it. But as it is, this just didn't hold my attention. Granted I didn't get very far into it, I only made it to the beginning of setting the story up. And while, I may be completely wrong I felt like this was just going to be as predictable as it sounds.

I am not sure if this is the final book or not, but I think it's a good stopping point. This time Cassidy takes on death. And while they "win" it costs them and postpones the inevitable. I do like Cassidy, Jacob and Laura as characters. I like seeing them working together and becoming friends. It's also interesting hearing the haunted history of so many well known places. I think that this is a great entry point for young readers who wants to get deeper in the horror genre but still nervous about what goes bump in the night.
