I really enjoyed the first book in the series, I thought it was so fun and amazing but this one was kind of a let down. I still enjoyed it but not as much unfortunately:(

On Instagram Shantel and I are mutuals and I've been seeing so many of her posts about this awesome book and I was blown away!
I would say I did fall out of thrillers/horror genre for the last little bit but I will read whatever Shantel comes out with. I really liked this and felt for Nicole's story. There was so many creepy eerie scenes and ahh it was so good

My feelings are a bit mixed with this one. I liked some elements and some not so much.. but I feel like this is still an important read and it was my bookclubs pick for January.
I think if maybe the book was a bit longer I could connect with it better, connect with Kim Jiyoung better. I did absolutely adore some quotes/passages in here but I do feel a bit underwhelmed unfortunately.

This such a strange book for me to describe for a review but it was strange but beautifully written and I loved the witches aspect and the wildings I thought were so cool!

Colleen Hoover really did that oh my god
I love her writing and how she perfectly sets up such a heartwrenching story.
I cried, I loved, and I regret not picking this up sooner.
I loved Lilly as our main character and seeing how she grew up in an abusive household as her father was abusive towards her mother. Atlas shows up in Lilly's life and adds a safehaven for her and it's such a good heartfelt story it makes me wanna cry all over again.

Colleen Hoover is one of my all time favourite authors. I love everything about this book and how Colleen captures such tough conversations and the authors note? BROKE ME

When I first heard of this release and read the synopsis it sounded very intriguing and the writing was very well done and I really felt for Caroline and Lila Sawyer because they were very fleshed out.
I have never read a horror novel with feminist elements but it was definitely something new. The first 30% had me hooked but then it got slower and very confusing but if you enjoy paranormal reads I recommend this one thoroughly!

This was a very unique book that I don't think I can even begin to explain but it had some really creepy imagery and I know it comes out next summer but I got the arc from netgalley and had to pick it up.
