This was such an interesting read. I loved the atmosphere and Val was one of the most interesting morally grey characters I've ever read about and I did enjoy it but it did take some weird twists and turns but for a YA Horror/Thriller I'll give it a 3⭐ because while I did enjoy elements from this book

I wasn't the biggest fan of the writing or the other characters besides Val lol

This was darker than I anticipated and I liked the writing as it kept my attention but it's not a new fav, I'll definitely look out for this author's books in the future tho!

Peter Swanson is an author I've wanted to read from for a while now because I see his books all over Instagram and tiktok and this one people rave about the most!

I liked it, definitely an interesting plot and the twists were great! I do think some parts were rushed but overall I enjoyed and will read again from this author :)
