Multiple plots were stopped and not developed further. There were stops in conversations and then just started with another even though the other conversation was def not finished and never got picked up again huh??

What I completely don’t get is the ending, I get that the author wants to promote her next books but no babe, gibsie and Clare deserve a happy end not some of this half ass open ending bullshit
And especially the end: How would they pick sides, what sides bro lizzie tormented him is whole life, ofc she had trauma but wtf apologize and then we’ll see but before an apology there should not be fucking sides. I can’t

Their hate towards each other seemed so unnessecary?? I could overlook that there was litterally no plot just vibes but why did they even hate each other. Okay hes obsessed but if hes so crazy about her why doesn't he just "take" her, not in the rape sense, please, but like telling her he likes her and done, idk its more complicated than that but ugh idk
