I spent quite a bit of time disappointed in character decisions throughout this book but I still loved it. I cried so much and my heart broke with these characters.

I don't think I have ever read a series where personalities were as distinct and clear as they are here. These characters will truly make you love them. I don't think I have ever had such a clear vision of characters in a book before.

The skip forward annoyed me. I wanted to see "that scene" played out, but I still can't get myself to give this book anything besides five stars.

Part of me wants to give this book five stars (which I might end up doing after I sleep on it), but another part had some issues.

I will start by saying this one my book club read for the month so it was broken up to 9 chapters a week. I ended up reading way ahead because I was so pulled into the story.

I also cried alot and was really moved by the characters. I loved Sniper so much I wanted him to have his own book.

But...the love between George and Char was pretty insta-loveish. They hadn't really spent that much time with each other and gotten to know each other well. Yet he put up with her just taking charge of his life. I don't see many people doing that for someone they just met.

We also could have had a bit more editing on the first few chapters. I didn't notice as many issues later on and think it was just that first batch.

We also could have gone without the epilogue. It actually made me like the characters less because I really did not see that as being something they would do. So I am choosing to pretend I didn't read it.

The story though, it really did move me. I really did love this book.

Spicy and enjoyable.

There were a couple moments where it dragged a bit. I found myself frustrated multiple times because of the characters lack of communication. I would still recommend it to other people though.

I just felt like the characters kept contradicting themselves. I wanted to love this but I just couldn't keep going. It was like every character besides Rory was out to get her. They would say one thing then do another. I just couldn't continue.

I am normally picky with my romance books and never give them five stars but I really loved this. I really needed something light and heartwarming to read because I was in a gloomy mood. This managed to be just what I needed while still exploring heavy topics. I was surprised at how well it was handled though. Even though all these terrible things have happened to Garrett and Hannah this book is still so light that I can see myself reading it again the next time I am in a weird slump.

Everything the characters said and did here felt so natural that it was like I was really watching this romance unfold. My like for Garret started as annoyance just like Hannah and we grew into that change together. It was fun and playful, which really just made me enjoy it more.

This relationship reminds me a lot of Haley and Nathan from One Tree Hill without all the drama and toxic moments. (This said by someone who firmly shipped them.) There were quite a few characters who were the stereotyped version of themselves, but it never felt like that reading it.

I am looking forward to continuing this series.

I am not sure what I was expecting when I started this e-arc because I enjoyed the first, but wasn't completely blown away. I can honestly say this sequel greatly exceeded my expectations.

Just wow.

The ending has me staring at my phone (where I read this all tonight) just repeatedly thinking "did that really happen?!" When it picked up, man did it pick up. I couldn't stop.

Now I am awaiting the sequel like crap what is going to happen next?!?!?
