As a total newbie gardener wanting to garden to become self sufficient, this is such a useful book! I've been able to put some of the advice into practice as I've read it with things I've already started growing, but I also now know how to expand and what things it makes sense for me to focus on over future growing seasons, plus how to store and make the most of my harvests.

A truly invaluable resource for anyone wanting to make friends with nature, live more sustainably, and save money.

Nice to read some things from Four's perspective but I didn't love that only random sections were shared.

I loved this book so much. The world is so wonderful to get lost in. The complexities of the characters are incredible. The inspiring, revolutionary message felt especially needed for me given current events. I loved how it was so complex, it lived in the grey areas, it explored the humanity behind difficult decisions.

I love how much I learn about history from reading this series! This was such a fun adventure round Liverpool with some of my favourite characters. Absolutely batshit but all makes sense in the context of the world it's set in and I love it.

Can't wait to go wandering round Chester in the next book - especially as I spent so much time there in my youth!

I flew through this book, laughing all the way! Hilarious and brilliantly written with all the undead drama you could possibly want!

A hilarious and exciting jaunt around Liverpool led by an undead cafe owner with a dry sense of humour - what's not to love?
The second in The Netherweird Chronicles is as tense and thrilling as it is funny. The undead politics continues despite some rather serious upheavals - proving that even after death people can have some very questionable priorities!
I absolutely loved this book, it was a light read but still gripping and somehow believable in the context of the world Violet has built.

As a late diagnosed Autistic woman this was really helpful for me to read to understand myself a little more and as I fight to get to my happily ever after.
I'm going to be lending it to all my neurospicy friends too, and the neurotypical folks I spend a lot of time with!

While there was a lot of useful information in this book it was very dense, not enjoyable to read, and very repetitive.
