I get what the author was trying to do and she was really good at it, but I was just so frustrated with how people treated the main character. And the "love interest" (if you could even call him that) made me so angry half the time I was just yelling at the book about how misogynistic he was being. However, I really admired how Keiko (the MC) just wasn’t offended by anything, she just wanted to live her life.
