I listened to this on Audible, read by the fantastic Jake Gyllenhaal, which I am sure added to my enjoyment of the story immensely. Although it’s worth noting that despite having seen the most recent film version of The Great Gatsby, I had no recollection whatsoever of what the story was actually about. I’d highly recommend this to anyone wanting to read a classic they haven’t read yet, but I definitely think that the excellent narration in the Audible version brings the story up a notch.
