this was a simple read and i loved it sm. oakley and quinton are so cute together. the tension in the beginning was so good. and the character development of quinton was perfect. he was kinda embarrassing in that one scene in the beginning but other than that i love him. 

i loved seeing them fall in love but tbh i feel like sometimes it wasn’t shown how they got closer and closer, it was just told to us or it just jumped to them being closer and im left wondering like when did they get to close. but it was good. i still enjoyed it a lot. 

there was a 3rd act “breakup” but i loved it in this. i usually hate that micro trope but i loved it in this because there was only good during their agreement and nothing bad was happening to them so i was getting kind of bored. so when the drama started, i was eating that shit up. angsty but i loved it. 

anyway i think they’re so perfect for each other and i enjoyed this so much. the ending was so good.

the angst, the tension, the drama, the plot twists???? so good. even though i guessed most of the plot twists in this series it was still good. i still gasped every time they were revealed. 

this was so good because there was almost always something going on.

the beginning when kirill thought sasha was dead?

the tension between maksim and anton???

teaaaaaa. i knew they loved each other since the first book. 

sasha’s character is my favorite fmc in rinaverse so far. she is everything i needed her to be and more. she’s such a badass and she didn’t lose her badassness after falling in love with kirill, in fact she got even more badass. i loved it so much. this is what was missing from rai. 

the only thing i thought was boring was the whole cabin arc

when kirill and sasha stayed in the cabin for weeks after being attacked in the forest or smth. like ik it was for them to fix their relationship, kind of, and for sasha to realize she’s still in love with kirill. but it was a little slow. i need drama.

also the beginning when they just had communication problems or

when sasha didn’t want to believe anything kirill was telling her was annoying but they got over it.

everything else was great. 

also vaughn!

so adorable in the epilogue. i love that everyone got a happy ever after that deserved it.

i’m a little sad that maksim isn’t working for kirill anymore but the fact that he’s happily living in russia with anton and that one child, mike(?),

is adorable. i love kirill sm and badass sasha. such an amazing trilogy.

this started strong got a little slow towards the middle and then near the end it got so fckn good. the drama, the plot twists. the end had me sit up in my bed and lock in. i was gasping and laughing immediately started the next book. great book.

this series is off to such a good start omg. it’s so good. the plot is so interesting and so amazing and the tension between kirill and sasha is SO GOOD. i love it sm already. sasha does give me second hand embarrassment a few times but it’s not too bad. kirill is so hot tho.

i had such high expectations for this book and it exceeding every single expectation by light years. 

i love this book so much. it is such a masterpiece. bran and niko will never leave me head i know it. they had such good communication for the most part and it was so so good. 

niko is so understanding of bran and they love each other so much. literally had me sobbing. this story is so so incredible. everything about it was amazing i literally have no complaints it was so so good. i love niko and bran so much. 

i relate to bran so much about hating yourself so much that you can’t possible imagine someone else loving you or that you think you’re a failure in the family and that you have to have a routine because being left alone with your mind is detrimental. i’m so happy he found niko and niko was able to help him. 

i love love the scene with lan in the hospital. i love lan so much and im so happy that it was shown that he truly cares about bran so much and he loves him. i’m so happy that they’re close again and that bran isn’t pushing lan away anymore. it makes so happy that they’re close and they know that the other twin loves them so much.

i love landon sm. 

i loved when

lan and niko put away their hatred and got together to get revenge on the person who hurt bran for years.

i truly love this story so much. it’s so good, it had the perfect amount of funny, angst, smut, love, and healing. i love niko and bran, i love lan, i love levi and astrid, i love kyle, i love rem creigh and eli. outstanding book.

now what if i tell yall i’ve loved landon since the first book. 

i saw someone say this book was just like jeremy’s book but what if i told yall i liked this one so much more than jeremy and cecily and it’s so much better than god of wrath. 

landon, certified psycho, i love him so much. i think im loving the books where the men do the little simple things for their girl. like yeah the possessiveness and jealousy is great and you can protect her from others and say how much you care and love her but it’s the little things that they do to show how much they care that matters to me. i think that’s why i love creighton and landon so much more than kill and jeremy. 

it’s the little things like lan

learning sign language for her, taking care of her plants for her, making statues of her for his exhibition, willing to change his thought process and learn empathy and see things from her perspective when all his life he cared about himself, willing to break his own artist wrists so he won’t lose her, going to a truce with his enemies for her, learned about her families hobby and got close to them bc he thought it would make her happy, killing the one person that took her voice away so she can speak again. and her first word in a decade was “landon”.

like yeah he’s a psycho but you can’t deny he loves and cares about mia so much and i love him for that. i will be a landon defender. all the things he did for her makes me sob. 

creighton and landon are superior. maybe im biased bc they’re kings but maybe not bc i liked asher and adrian’s books too. kings are just superior.

mia is such a badass i’m so happy she

got her voice back. maya though??? like wtf are you doing.

 

kyle doing a whole 180 on landon after finding out he protected mia and maya is so funny to me. dude protected landon from the police and loves him.

i love how in the epilogue we see

that landon is close with his siblings.

but i love landon, and i love mia. the snippet we get of levi astrid and aiden was funny and cute. i miss them. such a good book. loved and enjoyed it a lot.

God of Wrath by Rina Kent

this book felt 50 years long. i was expecting so much from this book because everyone talks about how amazing it is and how it’s the best book from the series and let me just say i'm so disappointed. maybe my expectations were too high but there was nothing really special about it. 

it was a toxic relationship that has no communication skills until the very end, they’ll fuck three times before they even talk about their problems, if they even talk about it. which they rarely ever do until they can’t hold it in and then blow up on the other person with anger. honestly this book is not as good as people make it seem, like yes jeremy did cute things for cecily but it does not make up for half the things he did to her and if i do say so myself, creighton was such a better boyfriend. 

also jeremy was kinda hypocrite. also cecily was so annoying half the time. jeremy was a good guy when he wanted to be and those scenes were cute. other times he was insufferable but cecily was just as insufferable, if not more. 

they had their cute moments (rarely) but this book was dragged on for so long with so much going on but also nothing. it was alright, it didn’t hit as good, maybe bc i read it right after god of pain and i absolutely loved gop so this didn’t have a chance tbh. but still i expected more. i think my expectations were too high. i hate this book like no other.

i love this book so much. i love creighton so much. yall can’t make me hate himmmmm. he did all the things annika liked bc he knew it would make her happy even though he doesn’t like doing them.

he ate her food yall even if it tasted like shit. THEY DANCED AND KISSED IN THE RAIN

the angst in this was so good. i don’t blame annika for what she did but i also don’t blame creighton for what he did. i think they were both in such an unfortunate circumstance and it just sucked. 

the only thing i didn’t like about this book was the whole island arc. at least in the beginning, idk it was just so random and it felt off and out of place. i hated it. but the very last day they were on the island was exactly what we needed. so so good. 

eli and creigh’s sibling relationship is so so sweet and it made me soft and gah eli cared about creighton so much it’s so heartwarming.

also the entire king family loves creigh sm it makes me so happy that they see him as their family member and not an adoptee

. aiden and elsa’s love for him was so good to read, im so glad aiden’s a good father and elsa’s a good mother. 

creighs friendship with remi is so so sweet also, even though they’re cousins, they have so much love for each other. when creigh said

“you are important to me, remi”

i literally almost sobbed. 

i love creighton so much he’s my fave character rn with remi and eli. this was such a good book. annika and jeremy also have such a sweet sibling relationship. i love annika too. love love love this book sm.

killian carson is psychotic. what a start to a book, i was literally like 😀 when i read that cliff scene. bc wtf.

the jealousy scenes are great tho.

the heathens friendship is so aww and the fact that the kids of the royal elite couples also have their own gc and they’re all great friends. gah my heart is so full.

also the little snippet we got of the og royal elite boys gc at the end was so cute and funny and i miss them.

every time they were mentioned i was squealing. 

i love landon. i love him fr idc if he’s a psycho too i love him. i love all the king boys tbh. also nikolai and jeremy im so in love. 

one thing that annoyed me was how glyndon

hated landon for the same reason she loved killian?? like they’re both psychos but you can understand and deal with killian but you can’t do that with your brother??

like she’s such a hypocrite for that. idk i dont really like killian or glyndon. i enjoyed the side characters more than the main characters.

poor levi, ik he has a permanent migraine from killian but he had it coming for being a menace during his teenage years LMAO. eh book.

such a good ending to the trilogy. the beginning pissed me off but i do have to give lia some credit for changing and becoming a badass that stands up to adrian and fights for what’s right. 

their communication skills in this book were so much better. but it pissed me off how

she still hid the fact that she knew luca and talked to him and knew about the assassination attempt. and the thing that really pissed me off about that was that she got so mad at adrian for getting rid of ryan and not telling her and she was like, how could you keep that a secret and not tell me, like girl you are doing the same exact thing. in fact your case is worse bc at least adrian did it for you and as revenge but your secret is about an attempt at adrian’s death. like girl that’s crazy how you’re getting so mad at him and then she goes on about how she hates how he’s killing people, like girl you KNEW he’s in the mafia, what did you expect????

but after she got over that debacle, the book was amazing. loved it. she was so badass marching into the italian territory and demanding to speak to the don. also her friendship with yan is so adorable. i love the found family she has with adrian’s guards and stuff, it’s actually adorable and so heartwarming. i love adrian, he is so perfect but flawed but perfect. great book.
