Laughing and crying laughing at the stories and drawings within. Found myself relating to the stories so much and also appreciated the use of humor to talk about serious topics that many deal with. The commentary about her chaotic dogs made me laugh, her anxiety and depression sections were relatable but still made me smile, and overall she felt so relatable throughout the book. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick and humorous non-fiction read

A great story with a great main character whose life we are immersed in through phenomenal narration. Hearing of her running, how she came to the lands, and what horrors she had seen in her life left a chill on my skin and I truly felt as though I were there with her in her adventures. Courageous and a survivor, I found myself rooting for her in her escape. Good read or listen.

Absolutely adored this book. A very easy and quick fantasy read, Elatsoe plays so well on the magic of myth, mystery, and pain of loss. I loved her growth as a character and her family and friends coming together to solve the mystery of murder. A great read I will never not recommend

A thrilling follow on to twisted tree that I adored. It was so we'll done and so enticing that I read it in one sitting and couldn't put it down. It's a phenomenal growth for our main character Martha and also dives into her gifts more while unraveling more Norse legends. Great read!

The book successfully covered a variety of emelents of the case and related incidents but could have been summarized with 100 less pages. The author seemed to include random things, conspiracies, and just stories of finger pointing in an attempt to lengthen the book it felt like
