This is more of a 3.75 star read for me, but i rounded it up because i think i would have really loved this as a young teenager.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 64%.

I liked the first book in this series and I thought oh I'll probably like this! and there are parts I liked but as I feared from my time trying to read boyfriend material I just can't stand the main character, I thought he'd get better and he probably does but after 240 pages I'm on my last leg. I'll probably eventually come back to it but right now I am so annoyed. Paris is so unlikable and it just makes me angry. and I have an anxiety disorder, I have generalized anxiety disorder but Good God.

i enjoyed a lot more than i thought i did, i dnf'd one of the authors other books and now im thinking maybe i was too harsh on it. I do think the books ive tried have suffered from overly quirky characters that can get on your nerves at times that it takes away from how good it could be.

oooh boyyy. couldn't put this book down definitely not for everyone. disgusting but also beautifully written.

at the end I was a little disappointed and was like is that all? but honestly now thinking more, Vanessa didn't have to give anymore. sometimes that's all.
