Brilliant, the rebel’s passion is inspiring and had me thinking about what was next when I wasn’t reading, one of my best reads in a while

Once again Jojo Moyes has pulled me into her world and held me tightly, every time I read her books I become invested in her characters even ones I don’t particularly like, and my heart break for Lou throughout all three books. I couldn’t recommend this series more and though I’m unsure if there will be more books I’m very content with how this ended

I couldn’t put this book down! It had been on my to be read list for ages and I finally picked it up and couldn’t stop! The twist and turns keep you on the edge of your seat and constantly had my mind working, the cliff hanger at the end had me wanting more and I’m so glad I brought the second book when I got halfway through the first. I highly suggest this book to anyone looking for something to read!

Wow! This book series is the gift that keeps on giving as I wrote in my previous review of the Red Queen I was pulled in from the beginning right into this world Victoria Aveyard has so skilfully created and I find myself constantly being drawn in and cherishing all the characters. I felt all the emotions Mare felt in this book towards Maven, Cal, Shade and Cameron, all of which have been written so beautifully. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the third book to continue this series which is quickly becoming a favourite. Couldn’t suggest reading it more

Words can’t describe how hooked I am on this series. I’ve read the whole series in 7 days and can not wait for the next book. I’ll be honest this book has slightly let me down... but I still enjoyed it. The ending has me heartbroken and angry over Cal’s decisions. Evangelina has grown on me in this book and I find my self rooting for her some times, I grew to love Farley and even like Kilorn a little even though he wasn’t one of my favourite throughout the other books. The relationship between Maven and Mare as odd and twisted as it was could’ve been written better, there was a lot of filler in the beginning of the book and it can be a bit jumpy at times, I think there were too many characters in the Scarlet Guard if I’m completely honest, I often found myself going back to check who people were as the book got further along and more characters came about. I still loved many aspects of this book though and I’m counting the days to the next book and am grateful I only have to wait a few months!
