this was really so moving and tragic. it wasn't so much enjoyable as just so deep and emotional. the interwoven stories of these women across decades were so interesting. i don't really have much to say about it overall. would recommend it solely for how meaningful it is.

giving this four stars because there were some parts that i didn't like even though i was OBSESSED with this book in middle school. it was still super fun to reread and i'm happy i still really enjoyed it after all this time. some of the characters were dislikable at some moments, more so than i remembered them being. since i'm such a character-focused reader, i think this messed with my opinion a bit more than it might have for others. overall, still a super good book and great for the start of summer!

this was on my enno vatti top 100 books list so i decided to pick it up, i never read it as a child so it was honestly really fun to read. don't have much to say because it is a children's book but overall just a fun experience lol

so fun to get back into this series! i love the overarching mystery in each book but how each one delves into specific characters and plots. i FELT for gemma in the beginning and i was unsure how barnabus would come back from that but i would say he groveled a good amount. besides the lowkey random nature of uncovering his feelings, it was a solid romance between the two. the cliffhanger was also crazy! only one more to go!

finally done with this series!!! i actually liked this one a bit more than the last couple so ending with a bang (as much of a bang that a not good hockey series can go off with).

i just didn’t like this. i didn’t love the first two books in this series either but this one was just not my vibe at all. i don’t really know why but i just didn’t like this book, and it felt really cringey at times, sorry!
