I have really been enjoying reading Feener's extended universe and this one was intriguing! I loved the murder mystery even if parts of it were predictable. I was intrigued by the relationship between Gael and Kai. I do wish that some parts of the story were more fleshed it.

I picked this up on the recommendation of a friend and it was so good! I loved watching Reubin fall for Vo'ak and watching Vo'ak learn how to support his mate. The worldbuilding was fun and the characters were intriguing! I can't wait to read more in this series!
