3.5⭐️ SUCH a cute universe I’m excited to pick up the third one. Super charming but I will say I guessed the murderer early in this one!
This was JUST what I needed today. Good news: you don’t need to remember much about any of the characters or plot to enjoy this one- it was super easy slipping back into this universe!
Well this book was miserable. I read it quickly just to get the misery over with.
LOTS of beautiful quotes, productions I would’ve liked to see or be a part of, and lots of Shakespeare.
I’ll say I liked it better than a secret history though. Whether it’s cause I’m a theater kid who was in a Shakespeare troupe or cause the characters felt more real. But damn what a depressing book. I need to like read a middle grade series now or something
