3.5/5 ⭐️ It took me about a month to finish this book. I saw someone else’s review that this book was mostly about developing the characters and the world and the rest of the series would have more action. I definitely agree! There’s a LOT of characters and the last 150 pages moved quick but the first half of the book was very slow. I did buy the next two books and I think they’ll make this book worth it.
4.5/5 ⭐️ This second book has a LOT more action and tension and intrigue than the first. I have no clue where the rest of the series is going to be honest but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
