I read this book, sobbed, and immediately picked it up again (the next day) just so it could break my heart more as I picked up on all the clues.

Side note: why did they make the tv series so drama-filled? I was angry at Jonnys character, he’s such a silly bean in the books.

I love Colin and Penelope 🥰 I do prefer their story in the show but I adore them here too. Hearing more about their relationship and what they say to each other is so satisfying to read.

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator always does a fantastic job with these! She helps these well-written characters come to life.

If you enjoy the show, you’ll love the books too ✨

This book had me like 😮

And after telling my fiancé a run down of the plot (since she won’t read it), she was also like 😮

Though, I think I’ve figured out the formula for her books after this - but that would be a spoiler to say 🤭

This book will have you GRIPPED. From the horror of reality and making mortgage payments on time, this book just escalates in the best possible pacing. Freida builds up a perfectly crafted way to hit us readers with the twist.

The end though, felt a little rushed. I kept thinking some of these names at the end were previous characters that popped up in her books. Give us a multiverse 😂😂 but I love these unforgettable characters she crafts and the twisty stories ❤️

I read the audiobook of this and it was such a fun listen!

I know the basic outline of the story, though I’ve procrastinated on reading/finishing some retellings. This plot flowed together well and I love the traditional role reversal.

I love soft bois and this version of Hades was so sweet 🥹 love the bi rep! I also love powerful women and Persephone was incredible in it.

I wish she had tried her luck at the end there and made a gamble 👀😂

The narrator of this book did an excellent job!

The third book in the Bridgerton series gave a spin on Cinderella, where Benedict found his match.

Love this series, love the writing, the characters, the narration, the stories.

This one didn’t hit as hard as the first two but still witty and lovely

“I’ve only ever been in an automobile a handful of times…
Never when I couldn’t see out. Never when I was being taken to die. No light, no air. Like they buried me already.”

This. Book!

This was the hardest I’ve ever sobbed in a book, I swear I was full on sobbing, ugly crying for a full half hour 😭 that end!!!

We already know Haymitch won the 50th anniversary games - the one that had double the tributes. This is the story of how it happened.

And what a story!! It had me gripped, the characters were so strong and the villains were so cruel.

If you enjoyed the hunger games, I’d definitely recommend this.

Rebel Witch was a satisfying conclusion to a magical start in Crimson Moth. It didn’t hit as hard as the first book but I loved how it all wrapped up.

This series was one of the best enemies to lovers I’ve ever read. It made me happy, angry, it left be sobbing. Definitely recommend this series ✨

I’m Glad My Mom Died is such a powerful read. I listened to the audiobook, which is narrated by her and she does a fantastic job of it. The writing style is simple but brilliant and really affective - the way her emotions are described, her thinking at the time, and her age reflects as we listen to her grow up.

I didn’t know much about this going in so there are a lot of trigger warnings. They range from her mom showering her still at age 16 to encouraging anorexia in an 11 year old to calling her daughter a s1ut, disowning her and asking for money all in the same message.

I’m so happy she’s in a good place now 🥹

This was a great audiobook, the sound effects added so much to it and I loved the intro/outro - it added so much to the private detective theme.

Great read showcasing superpowers in a realistic type of world and way of uncovering the plot.

Love that there’s disability and non-binary rep ✨
