The Magic Watering Can And Other Stories by Enid Blyton
2.0
It is good for kids as the English is at that level. Stories are very average because it is like what the parents make up something to make sure their kids are not mischievous. Also there is content like revenge and taking revenge at the cost where the only two(the person who is taking revenge and the person on whom revenge is taken upon) are not involved and some other people also hurt. So until unless if you don't have any other book to give for your child I will not recommend it. It always justifies one side of persons story when seen from other side it is looking fully wrong
Fall of Giants by Ken Follett
4.0
I loved this book it. I fell in love immediately after reading the epilogue of the book. It was really good page turner most of the times and sometimes book-closer as some times the political conversation between the elite people get boooooring. But the conversation between the poor or middle class and the elite or between themselves are interesting. The Book Is the best way to know about the history of the world war. The Characters are well developed without much hurry because it is a large book so the character are made like a sculpture using his hand tools to make a sculpture. It shows really well how the circumstances make a person who he is and how the inner qualities are coming out in the desperate moments. The love story was good and I loved what make them fall in love with the others. So overall it is a good book if not for few boring pages. For 850 pages there would have been 20 boring pages so it is really a good book if not for that. For spoiler filled review see My status status update of the book.
Winter of the World: The Century Trilogy 2 by Ken Follett
4.0
The Book is amazing and well written and has portrayed how the war happened and how the people felt in different classes and different places in the world. First time I took the book, I read two paragraph and closed the book because now the book is narrated from the perspective of the children of the protagonist of the Fall of Giants, but I took it again after reading three pages ,I could not put it down. In the midway around 380 reading rampage started and I completed 400 pages of the book in three days. After reading 1200 Pages of Ken Follet's writing you can guess which character he is going to kill ,as I expected he kill the person I thought he will kill. If you have read Fall of giants for sure you will like it. Unfortunately for spoiler filled review I could not ask you to read status like fall of giants because after 380 It was so fast and interesting I could not spend time on anything else and I have read the book and didn't do any status updates
Things I didn't like are that he didn't include about the German U boat fights and Enigma and Turing machines.

Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom
5.0
The book is not at all like reading a non fiction or biography book though this is my second non fiction book. I am sure there is no other way to say life lessons as interesting as this.
I recently lost my grandfather due to blood cancer slowly losing his ability and knowing that he is going to die soon. He had mindset and speaks and advices similar to Morrie. I could not grieve properly then because I got tested positive for corona two days before his death and I also had my semesters within a week and I kind of forgot that whole feelings. But as I read this book it made me cry.
I think if someone has lost someone recently or is afraid of losing someone soon, this is the best book to read.
