Wow.... so that was a wild but amazing ride. I ended up binge reading book 1 and 2 so I could read an arc copy of this and figured going in that Roger would stay my fav..... But Laurent ... goodness... he is totally tied for top spot now.
Definitely check out the tropes and triggers though.
