This has been sitting on my TBR shelf for years, actual years, and I’ve put off reading it because of all of the negative reviews. Because of that, I went into this with a genuine lack of enthusiasm, not sure at all what to expect. What I really did not expect was that I would love it.

I could never objectively rate this, or any other book Harlan wrote. He is my best friend that I’ll never meet. Someone else will have to point out the flaws. I couldn’t do it if I tried.
