liked this a lot more than her other book.
i knew that the person giving the interviews had to be making up the story about John being an abuser once she realized that hearing about that tuff excited him, however, i did not expect it to be fairchild
good book that kept me guessing, and nothing came out of too left field. enjoyed it and hope to read other things by hepworth after this

i guess i expected more of a stand alone from this book instead of such a stark continuation of the original triology. so there were a lot of times that i was confused, especially with the swtiching POVs which was not my favorite. after i read a summary and got more of a dumbed down version of the book. i realized i liked it. just wish it wasnt so confusing the first go around

most of the book felt way too much like filler, the end got really interesting but also a little too predictable for my liking. liked tella more as a character by the end of it tho

had a lot of potential, thought the judge's backstory was interesting,
but there is no way in hell that they would have been able to trick the FBI like that like come on,, they didn't need a body confirmation??? that part ruined it for me

i try and try but i just cant really find the appeal of Ali Hazelwood books. this is the third book ive read by her and its essentially the SAME EXACT STORY. i mean how many times can you write "enemies to lovers scientists with a slight professional achievement gap"

what kind of CRACK IS IN THIS BOOK?? i haven’t found myself excited to sit down and read a book in so long until this one came along. yeah the characters pissed me off sometimes and the magic was a little confusing at times, but man the story just kept sucking me back in. i cannot wait to find out where the rest of the series goes and im gonna be so sad if it starts to go downhill

honestly should have seen the fact that the husband was evil when he allowed her to play in those games with no warning
a fresh read honestly, fairly remiscent of Ready or Not, but still really enjoyed it. wish Harriet was a little les dumb though

if i rolled my eyes any harder, they would fall out of my head

i hated the way this story was told, i hated the characters, and i hated the way that the female characters were talked about. Also, i still left the novel confused because of the dumbass way this story was told. like i get what he was trying to do, but it did NOT work
