This is a touching “what if” story….reminds me of the film “Sliding Doors”. Lots of fun characters and twists and turns. Only wish is gave more in Agnes’s section of the story!

This collection of short stories has a little of everything. Some are interesting, some are creepy, and some it you in the feels. Don’t have a favorite yet…I’ll see which one stays with me the longest.

I read this book because a student of mine has been asking me all year to! It did not disappoint. The world and magic was cool, the characters were well crafted, and the plot was slow to start and then ended with a WHAT?!?! moment. Will definitely be reading the rest of the trilogy. Gotta know what happens!

Interesting concept, great storytelling, and unique layout (chapters included photos related to the case). Overall, a good read…definitely appeals to true crime fans.

This book was a whirlwind of spooky and mysterious. Love a great “whodunnit”! This one didn’t disappoint. I loved the two different time periods and the way everything connected in the end.

This story was just good, not great…good. The characters were alright, the plot was interesting enough to keep me entertained, and the end was actually the best part.

This book was totally insane! Absolutely creepy, crazy, and unhinged. I really enjoyed it! 🤪 Some of the stories of the main characters were better than others, but all were nuts! Only holding off on 5 stars because of a couple parts that I feel were not resolved.

The writing was beautiful and the storyline was intriguing. I enjoyed the whole thing until the end…I felt it ended too abruptly…I wanted more!!!!

This book was equal parts interesting and completely messed up. Maeve was a unique character and it took me awhile to put her together. There is a significant amount of body horror, sexually explicit content, and overall creepiness. The end was…I’m still not sure what I think of the end. 😵‍💫
