3.5 stars. The book drags quite a bit in the middle, but I just love these characters.
Oh my stars, Sarah J Maas is just so. damn. good. I was surprised I didn’t really like the first book of this series, but now realize I just didn’t like Tamlin. But omg give me Rhysand all day, every day. I’m already starting #3 because I just can’t get enough.
This book had so much potential, but I just didn’t really like any of the characters. Still a cute read.
I feel like this is book is an unfinished draft of a potentially great novel. It was good, but things happened way too quickly (literally within a matter of a page, the protagonist has switched sides). That being said, I do still plan to continue reading this series so I guess it intrigued me enough.
I thought I couldn’t possibly love this musical any more, but then I read this book. Just perfection.
