Absolutely LOVED this book! Based on the description I was pretty sure that I’d like this book because I’m a sucker for books with any sort of book angle, love sports in my romance and am a serious sucker for opposites attract. It completely exceeded my expectations though.
I went into NIGHT SHIFT expecting a sweet and fluffy romcom that probably wouldn’t really have much in the way of spice…and I did get those super sweet moments and it had me laughing countless times, but it also had two leads with amazing chemistry and banter, and it was spicier than I expected! I loved Kendall and Vincent—they definitely had some classic miscommunication moments, but I loved how they worked through them and the way the book wrapped up was phenomenal! It felt so fitting for the characters, and there were so many moments that just made their relationship feel extremely real and authentic in the most wonderfully authentic and heartfelt way!
Highly recommend this one to anyone who loves college romances that are full of banter, sweet and spicy moments! If you love opposites attract, bookworm x athlete dynamics, epic meet cutes, romances where the leads make an effort to like what their partner likes, and dirty talk, then this one is for you. ;) I hope you love it as much as I did.

Absolutely loved this one sooooooo much! I’ve always loved Tessa’s romcoms, so I’m not surprised that I enjoyed this one so much, but I didn’t expect it to be fighting for first place with It Happened One Summer in my list of fave Tessa Bailey books…but she’s done it. :p
I loved Josephine and Wells so, so much! Their dynamic was such a delight to read and their chemistry was bananas and so steamy! I loved every single interaction between them, and it was lovely to see them push each other to their full potential! I seriously adored how honest they were with each other and the open communication they shared was fantastic! ;)
