This book tore me out of an impending slump. So good, so exciting. I am usually very good at guessing who done it. However, this had me guessing. The MC wasn't the most likeable at first, but she really grew on me.

Absolutely wonderful!!! I loved this book. I have a fascination with Medusa. The illustrations are gorgeous!!! Can't get enough of this book!!!!!

I have to admit, I struggled with the first half. I was considering DNFing it. I picked it up again, a week or two later & the last half was so good. Not sure if I wasn't in the right mood or if maybe the beginning sucked. But the second half really is amazing & worth the wait. Would have been high 4 stars.
This author... They are culturally insensitive & have no finesse. I have nothing against religion being part of the story, but thinking that God is going to protect a church & its inhabitants just feels silly. When he started comparing the church to Masada I was just done.

This book is a conundrum to rate. I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I figured it out fairly quickly. There were some good twists.

I don't know where to start... Ok just going to start with the erotic part of the description: The scenes were uncomfortable & horrific, but for the most part very short. The horror is again very uncomfortable. It was so scary reading the different POVs. I think the author accomplished what they were trying to.

I wanted to like this more. I found the characters unlikeable. I was going to say I didn't find it that scary, but I did have a nightmare about a certain character. lol It was fun & entertaining, which is all I can ask for from a book.
