P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han

4.0

This book doesn't heat up for me until about 100 pages in or when John Ambrose McClaren shows up. Finally, the stakes get higher and something actually happens. Prior to that, there's too much rumination about the scandalous hot tub video. But then afterwards, John arrives and suddenly there's not only a triangle brewing but also a possible quadrangle. Oooooooh. Meanwhile, Lara Jean shines as a Typical Teenager who makes some poor choices but still remains charming throughout. And, of course, there are some swoonworthy between Lara Jean and Peter, especially at the end. When Peter says, "Do whatever you want with it," it feels earned.
