I became interested in this series after watching the Amazon TV series. The Amazon series is somewhat different because the books were written back in the 90s. The book was interesting but the characters aren't really similar to the TV characters. I "read"it as an audiobook and that's when I realized this story is really the one they are telling in season 3 of the Bosch series so I guess I'll see how that works.
