Batman: Faces by Joe R. Lansdale, Matt Wagner

3.0

A pretty interesting Batman story that had Batman rely more on his detective skills, rather then just beating down mobsters, which was refreshing. Even though the villain (Two-Face) is a an old one he seemed fresh in this book and his unique world view was explored more in here then any other story i've seen him in before. However, overall, it was just another comic. Quick and to the point. It was a good read but it hardly lived up to the grandoise claims in the introduction that claimed this book challenged our conception of freaks and whether society is over-obsessed with beauty.
