Paragon Exordium by Mikel Melwasul
5.0
This book is so full of action, I had to take a break every 150 to 200 pages just to process everything that had happened.
If the shattering were to happen in real life, I would follow Peter Blair to the end of the world because I believe that he would do anything in his power to keep me safe.
The mixing up of the apocalypse with mythical and fantasy elements has been done very well. Slowly but surely, the reader gets the full scope of the chaos that has been unleashed, not just on humanity, but on the magical creatures that have been ripped from their respective, separate realm.
In the end, I was definitely left with the feeling that the biggest danger for our main characters, Sarah and Peter, isn't in the unknown but in humanity itself. I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series.
The narration by Cormac Brennan is top tier. It added another layer of depth to an already amazing story. Can't recommend this story enough!
