Interesting premise I guess. Very predictable and not terribly engaging. The husband is the bad guy, but so shallow in his villainy that it’s not believable. Overhearing a conversation is a great way for the main character to garner info as a spy, but 3 times? Seems lazy. And I’m pretty sure that when you suffer burns and bruising, you’re not going to walk out of a hospital, let alone run towards a dangerous situation to be a hero. It’s a cliffhanger for the series, but I don’t think I care what happens.
