Where the Missing Go
by Emma Rowley
I just loved this book, mystery suspense a mother doing everything to not give up on finding her daughter.
They say a mother always knows best and since the day that Kate's daughter, Sophie, ran away Kate had always thought it didn't quite seem right. The police said she left a note so the case wasn't really investigated as anything other then a runaway teen. Then strange things started happening, a post card here and there would turn up telling Sophies parents she was ok and not ready to come home yet. The letters seemed a little off to Kate but she couldn't quite place how. Then one night when she was working at the Message in a bottle helpline a call came in saying this would be the last you hear from me but i'm ok. Kate knows it was sophie the way a mother would, but the police don't believe her they think she's making it up. Then sophies old notebook show ups and nothing quite adds up. Kate knows something is different but can she figure it out to find her daughter?
This book sure took me on a wild ride i didn't want to believe that kate didn't have it all together but everyone seemed to think she needed help. Then when I finally thought i knew what happened it turned out to be someone else. This was a great book that I just devoured I didn't want to put it down once i started. I definitely would give 4.5 🌟 to and suggest if you like a good thriller to give it a read.
