The Bone Houses by Emily Lloyd-Jones

4.0

This reminds me strongly of the dark tide. The book had a lovely system of magic and surroundings and characters that were original and that you cared about. Most of the plot I guessed at or foresaw but that didn't make it any less beautiful. I even cried at the end. A mapmaker, a gravedigger and a undead goat, how more original could a story be? I loved it and I am considering if I want to read it again.
